Privacy Policy

FounderRadar is committed to protecting your privacy. This page explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

Public data we process

We collect and analyze publicly available posts and comments from platforms such as Reddit, Hacker News, and GitHub. We preserve source links so you can trace back to the original content.

Personal data and PII

We do not scrape private profiles or private messages. Public handles and usernames from source posts may appear in preserved records. On request, we can hash or anonymize handles in stored records for privacy.

Waitlist and contact emails

When you join our waitlist or contact us (e.g., via the waitlist form), we store your email to send updates about FounderRadar. Emails are used only for communications about the product; we will not sell or rent your email list. You can unsubscribe at any time.

How we store data

Raw public posts are retained for analysis and reprocessing. We follow reasonable security practices for stored data. If you have specific deletion requests, contact hello@founderradar.com and we'll respond promptly.

Third parties

We may use third-party services (hosting, analytics, Netlify functions, Supabase) to operate the service. We limit sharing of personally identifying information and require vendors to follow privacy-respecting practices.

Your choices

If you wish to request removal or anonymization of content that references you, email hello@founderradar.com with details and we will evaluate and respond in accordance with platform ToS and applicable law.
